Inviting Users
Orqio lets you invite team members to your organization and control what they can access within each workspace.
How invitations work
When you invite someone to Orqio, you're granting them access at two levels:
- Organization level -- they become a member of your company's Orqio account
- Workspace level -- they get access to specific environments (like
stagingorprod)
An invitation is sent by email. The recipient clicks the link, creates an account (or signs in), and joins the organization automatically.
Roles
Orqio uses roles to control what each user can do:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control over the organization, workspaces, billing, and members |
| Admin | Manage workspaces, invite users, configure integrations |
| Member | Build and run workflows within assigned workspaces |
tip
Start with the fewest permissions needed. You can always expand access later.
Inviting a user
- Open Settings in the Orqio app
- Navigate to Members
- Click Invite Member
- Enter the person's email address and choose a role
- Select which workspaces they should have access to
- Send the invitation
The invited user receives an email with a link to join.
Managing access
- Remove a member from the Members page if they no longer need access
- Change a role to adjust what a user can do
- Adjust workspace access to limit which environments a user can see
Best practices
- Limit production access. Not everyone needs access to the
prodworkspace. Keep it to people who manage live workflows. - Use descriptive roles. Assign roles based on what people actually need to do, not their job title.
- Review membership regularly. Remove users who have left the team or no longer need access.
- Separate responsibilities. Have builders work in
stagingand operators manageprod.
